A few weeks ago I shared a very touching story written by fellow voice talent, Andrew Swingler, about the tragic loss of his wife, Sandra, to cancer. Since then, many in the voiceover community have come to Andrew’s aid, not only with words of encouragement and support, but also financially, by donating to the VO Peeps Scholarship Fund, established by Anne Ganguzza and the Media Communications Association of Orange County/LA County (MCAI-OC).
The Scholarship Fund was established to assist Andrew, and his two daughters, Elizabeth and Rachel, in their time of need. I’m glad to report that the fundraising goal established by Anne is in sight, but not quite over the top.
That’s where Marc Cashman, award winning Producer, Casting Director, Voiceover Instructor, Voice Actor, and President/Creative Director of Cashman Commercials, comes in.
One of many services Cashman provides is his Audition-Aid!, which is designed to help you make the most of your voice acting skills in just minutes. Within 15-30 minutes, Marc can help you deliver an audition that you’ll be confident to submit or perform live in a studio. As part of the fundraising drive, one Audition Aid! session is being auctioned off on eBay. But hurry, the bidding ends August 14.
I encourage you to make a bid for this fabulous service provided by one of the most sought-after voiceover coaches in the business, while at the same time, help the VO Peeps Scholarship Fund succeed in reaching its charitable and heartfelt goal for the Swingler family.
